Description

Responsible for the organization, management, and operations of the financial affairs of the Fife Public School system: accounting, budget preparation, disbursements, investments, stewardship of funds, and related functions. Plans, directs, coordinates and maintains the integrated financial and risk management functions for Fife Public Schools, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) issued by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and other regulatory and advisory organizations. Analyzes, diagnoses and provides alternative solutions to the district’s fiscal issues and concerns. Provides financial data and periodic reports for the Board of Directors, Superintendent and outside agencies as requested.
