Description
In this exciting and unique role, the Director, UCLA Health Regional Burn Center, is responsible for the fiscal, human resources, clinical, and communication operations of the inpatient nursing units and the outpatient clinic. The Director's professional role description is based on ANA's Nursing Administration's Scope of Standards and UCLA's Professional Practice Model. Develops, maintains and evaluates patient and staff collection systems and processes to support the practice of nursing and the delivery of patient care. Evaluates assessment practices, uses date collection to measure unit performance, routinely conductus CICARE rounds, assess staff performance.
Salary $167,100-403,900
CA RN License
BLS, ACLS, PALS, ABLS, CBRN
Bachelors and Masters Degree (one of which must be in nursing)
3 years acute care/management experience in Burn required
Knowledge to manage disaster incidents, sentinel events and ability to problem solve with critical thinking skills
Ability to communicate effectively and knowledge of UCLA policies
Skills in prioritizing and time management
Ability to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate
Ability to inform and educate
Knowledge of UCLA and professional standards
