Primary Responsibilities
The Executive Director of Learning and Leadership serves as a key instructional leader and supervisor reporting to the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning or Deputy Superintendent. This role is responsible for driving instructional excellence and aligning school-level initiatives with the district's vision, mission, and strategic plan. The Executive Director provides leadership oversight for a predetermined principal cohort and various programs within the Teaching and Learning Department, focusing on staff growth through a Professional Learning Community (PLC) framework. This equity-oriented position ensures inclusive and student-centered leadership while maintaining strong collaborative partnerships with central service colleagues and community stakeholders.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Master’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of principal experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
- Experience providing effective adult professional development.
- Experience working with diverse students, staff, and communities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate Degree preferred.
- Bilingual/Biliterate skills preferred.
