McLeod Health, a 7-hospital nonprofit private healthcare system located in South Carolina is seeking a Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physician. McLeod Health is dedicated to improving the overall health of patients in our 18-county referral area; serving over 1 million patients.
Our nationally recognized unopposed residency program offers community-based training in a 517-bed regional referral medical center including a NICU, labor and delivery unit and open ICU.
Our flexible program structure provides opportunities to enhance a diverse array of special interests including evidence-based-medicine, quality improvement, underserved populations, hospital medicine and critical care, procedures, geriatrics, OB, women's health, pediatrics, physician leadership, and more. We are seeking a Physician with passion and enthusiasm for teaching full-scope family medicine. Opportunities for leadership and professional growth and development are available.

- Faculty role includes: Teaching and supervising residents in outpatient and inpatient settings, direct patient care in Family Medicine Center, didactic teaching, curriculum development, resident mentorship, scholarly activity. Faculty are provided protected administrative time every week.
- Residency leadership experience recommended but not required.
- Faculty lead the inpatient teaching service 1 week per month with a rotating weekend call schedule with our faculty and community physicians. Outpatient hours are 8:15a-5p M-F in a busy clinic with embedded procedure, OMT and OB clinic.
