- Head and Neck Surgical Oncology Opportunity in Miami, Florida

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ a Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist to join the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary cancer program dedicated to delivering comprehensive surgical care for patients with complex head and neck malignancies.
- Full-Time Opportunity
- Candidates must be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABOHNS)
- Fellowship training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology required, along with showing expertise in microvascular reconstruction and complex reconstructive surgery required
- Requirements include MD/DO from an accredited institution, active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date), and successful completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
- Candidates will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with head and neck malignancies, including cancers of the oral cavity, oropharynx, larynx, hypopharynx, salivary glands, thyroid, parathyroid, skin, and soft tissues of the head and neck
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and collaborate closely with medical oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, pathology, speech-language pathology, dentistry, plastic surgery, and supportive care specialists
- Supported by a multidisciplinary team of fellow physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and allied health professionals
- Opportunity to help expand and strengthen a comprehensive Head and Neck Oncology Program within the Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute
