Hospital Director
Grady Veterinary Hospital in Cincinnati, OH
We offer a competitive salary along with a sign-on bonus of up to $25,000, based on experience.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work together as a team with Managing Doctor and Regional Operations Manager to promote and develop collaborative patient care, client service, and financial/medical goals
- Hire staff with appropriate references.
- Manage salary reviews, and staff performance
- Coach and train staff, while providing a career path
- Schedule for maximum coverage and meeting payroll targets
- Resolve client non-medical complaints
- Administrative duties such as payroll submission, accounts payable/receivable and work with management to understand financial statements and other financial data to find ways to improve revenues, reduce COGS/COS and increase EBITDA
- Monitor the cost of purchasing so the practice operations within budget.
- Update inventory and costs as shipments are received
- Ensure facilities are operational, working with facilities manager as needed

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a supervisor in a veterinary facility required
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks at once, and deal with high levels of stress
- Must be able to interact with all levels of staffing in a professional manner
- Financial, Inventory/COGS and COS management
- Background in managing service-oriented operations
