Description
Role PurposeThe IT Program Delivery Manager is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the end-to-end orchestration of complex IT programs and the strategic oversight of Electronic Shipping Solutions (ESS) support within Egypt . This role ensures that technical solutions are delivered on time and within scope while maintaining high service standards for digital tools that directly impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex IT programs and projects, ensuring they align with broader business objectives and timelines .
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including meticulous planning, execution, and monitoring of scope, schedules, and resources .
- Directly oversee Electronic Shipping Solutions (ESS) support operations to ensure strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) .
- Act as the subject matter expert for ESS tools, APIs, and integration processes to support technical customer inquiries .
- Drive continuous service improvement initiatives and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge transfer .
- Proactively identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and quality issues to ensure successful outcomes .
- Manage program budgets and resource allocations tied to delivery requirements .
- Represent the Egypt IT function in regional and global forums to ensure alignment with international standards .
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a high-performing team involved in program delivery and technical support .
- Ensure all IT activities strictly adhere to established project management methodologies and organizational standards .
- Collaborate with commercial, operations, and customer service functions to align IT delivery with customer needs .
- Manage relationships with external vendors and regional IT teams to facilitate seamless solution integration .
- University Graduate: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field .
- English Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English is mandatory for global stakeholder communication .
- Experience: 6 to 8 years of proven experience in IT program management, solution delivery, or technical support roles .
- Leadership: At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity, managing technical teams .
- Project Management Certification: PMP or Prince2 certification is highly preferred .
- Service Management: ITIL certification is considered a significant advantage .
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ESS platforms, APIs, and digital integration tools .
- Methodology: Strong familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies .
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders .
- Problem Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to risk management and conflict resolution .
