Operations Manager, The Wisco Project
The Organization:
The Wisco Project is Wisconsin’s largest, scrappiest youth vote organization. We run large-scale organizing and digital programming to reach and mobilize students across the state. In 2026, we will seek to build on the work of previous cycles to run our strongest program yet and score progressive victories for students across the state. This will be a crucial year for Wisconsin and we are in need of talented, dedicated staff ready to take on this challenge with us!
What Will You Do?
We are looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for helping manage the operations and logistics of The Wisco Project’s 2026 programming. The Operations Manager should be someone who is passionate about supporting the mission of the Wisco Project and our team. The role will start in the summer and run through November 15, 2026. This position will be based in Madison, WI and requires a significant amount of in-person work and state-wide travel. Supporter housing may be available.
The Operations Manager will work closely with the Operations Director to:
Assist with the planning and execution of campus organizing tactics, including visibility, stunts, and events.
Provide logistical support for an expansive organizing program, including working with vendors, ordering merchandise and materials, completing regular supply audits, etc.
Oversee the procurement and distribution of organizing materials and supplies.
Contribute to the creation and implementation of internal systems to improve departmental coordination and efficiency.
Assist, as necessary, in developing and managing processes relating to personnel, budget management, compliance, and more.
All other duties as assigned.
Who Are You?
A successful candidate for this role will have:
At least 1-2 cycles of campaign operations experience, with a preference for candidates. who have experience supporting a campus organizing program.
A love of creating systems, processes, and spreadsheets, plus a knack for logistics.
Excited to get creative in the development of youth voter outreach tactics and systems.
Be scrappy and flexible; able to manage several tasks simultaneously.
Be a self-starter, exceptionally well-organized, and have strong time management skills.
The ability to work collaboratively across departments
Have reliable transportation.
Adapt easily to the quickly changing needs of the program as it develops.
Job Details: Compensation for this role is $6,000/month plus benefits. This is a Full time role.
