Operations Analyst - Hedge Fund - Global Macro

Our client is a boutique hedge fund manager running a discretionary global macro investment strategy. The firm combines fundamental macroeconomic research with disciplined risk management to generate attractive risk-adjusted returns across international markets.

Our client is looking to hire someone who is from a Hedge Fund or Investment Bank within Operations, the ideal candidate must possess strong product knowledge across OTC Derivatives (Rates, Credit, IRS, FX, Swaps etc.). If you have strong coverage of Macro strategies that would be a big bonus.

Required Experience and Responsibilities

• Cleared and Bilateral OTC Derivative Experience
• Rates, Credit, IRS, FX, Swaptions, CDS etc.
• Trade booking requests
• Trade matching and clearing
• Settlements
• Reconciliations
• Daily P&L support
• Investigating trade and cash breaks
• Liaising with brokers, custodians and other external parties
• Supporting operational improvement initiatives and project work
• Ideally 3 - 7 Years experience gained in a Hedge Fund or Investment Bank
• Prefence to those with strong VBA and Python skills
