- Portfolio Director, Hydro Power and Dams

Overview
Reporting to the VicePresident of the Division, the Portfolio Director is responsible for developing a strategic approach to markets, clients and associated projects, bringing the best solutions to increase market share in a consistent and predictable manner. In order to attain the objectives, the Portfolio Director will have to work in close collaboration with the other groups within the organization for the market development strategy, the preparation of responses to calls for tenders, or the monitoring of project performance.
Your role:
Growth & Sales –
- Maintains a highly visible presence with our British Columbia and Yukon key clients and other related portfolio clients in Canada.
- Actively participates in the strategy development and execution for the Canadian market to deliver yearonyear growth in regard to both volume and profitability.
- Oversees Standing Offer contracts (MSA's) and provides oversight of Project Delivery performance associated with the portfolio of projects.
- Leads the preparation of the bids, develops and crafts bid strategy, leads the GoNo Go decisions, validates the service offering.
Project setup & Execution –
Provides Project Delivery oversight and delivers quality projects within their portfolio:
- Manage client interface,
- Chairs key internal meetings (kickoff, progress reviews, key milestones),
- Validate change requests / contractual amendments,
- Manage waivers and claims,
- Manage risk and contingency.
Business delivery –
- Manages a portfolio of projects to deliver on overarching regional business goals (monthly, quarterly, annually) and maintain reasonable risk levels.
- Facilitates resolution of Client complaints.
- Participates in monthly Business Unit Market meetings (Canada).
- Delivers maximum business efficiency while delivering growth goals.
- Related experience in Engineering, Construction, Operation, Maintenance andor Project Management in the field of Hydropower is an asset, with 1015 years of experience or more.

- Expected compensation for this role is (between Pay Range $143 000- $197 000 annually + bonus) . Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
