At Amazon, we are committed to improving the experience, sustainability, and operational success of our Delivery Service Partner (DSP) network. The APAC DSP Partner Experience team is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead strategic programs and initiatives in Japan, while also supporting selected regional efforts in Australia.This role will primarily focus on initiatives aligned with the team's safety charter, representing approximately 60-70% of the role's scope. In addition, the role will support broader DSP and driver experience programs aimed at improving partner engagement, operational performance, and delivery associate experience.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with business, operations, product, safety, and partner teams to drive scalable programs, improve mechanisms, and deliver measurable business impact. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong program management, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and execution skills in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead strategic safety-related programs and initiatives for the DSP network in Japan
- Own end-to-end programs and initiatives that improve the experience and sustainability of Amazon's DSP network in Japan, while supporting selected regional initiatives in Australia
- Drive program governance, business reviews, leadership updates, and operational reporting
- Drive execution of cross-functional initiatives by partnering with Operations, WHS, and Product
- Build scalable mechanisms and continuously improve processes that enhance safety outcomes, partner experience, and operational performance
- Analyze operational trends and business metrics to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Manage multiple complex programs simultaneously in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
- Influence stakeholders across regional and global teams to drive alignment and deliver results
A day in the life
A typical day may include reviewing operational and safety performance metrics, leading cross-functional discussions to resolve emerging issues, aligning with regional stakeholders on program priorities, and driving execution against key initiatives. You may work closely with Operations, WHS, Product, Policy, and DSP partner teams to identify improvement opportunities, launch new mechanisms, or support regional business reviews.
You will also spend time translating ambiguous business challenges into scalable solutions, preparing leadership updates, influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations, and ensuring programs are delivering measurable impact for DSP partners and delivery associates.

About the team
The APAC DSP Partner Experience team owns programs and initiatives that improve the experience, sustainability, and operational success of Amazon's Delivery Service Partner network across the region. We partner closely with operations, product, and support teams to build scalable solutions that improve partner and driver outcomes while supporting Amazon's customer and safety commitments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, transportation logistics
- 5+ years of program or project Management experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English and Japanese
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent
- Experience leading safety, compliance, operational excellence, or risk-reduction initiatives
- Familiarity with Japan business, operational, or regulatory environments
- Experience preparing business reviews and communicating with senior leadership
