応募資格

• 大学卒以上(電気工学専攻歓迎.機械工学または関連分野も可)
• 5年以上のプロジェクトマネジメント`プロジェクトエンジニアリング`または技術営業の経験
  (電気`配電`産業技術分野での経験が望ましい)
• 技術系プロジェクトにおける遂行管理`契約管理`ステークホルダー調整に関する実務知識
• 尚可(必須ではありません):
  低圧• 中圧スイッチギア`配電盤• 分電盤`保護リレーおよび制御システム`変電設備など
  配電ソリューション製品に関する知識

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the execution of small to medium‑sized projects within ABB's Electrification Distribution Solutions business. You will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with ABB policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, relevant cyber security regulations, and health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements, while meeting financial targets and schedule commitments.

Projects typically range in value from USD 100k to USD 3M, with larger projects reaching up to USD 20-30M. Team sizes vary depending on project complexity, from individual responsibility up to teams of 20 people, with an average annual project volume of USD 5-10M.

You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders, applying proven project management practices and collaborating with top experts and cutting‑edge electrification technologies to deliver solutions that shape the future of energy distribution.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification - Distribution Solutions business area in Japan. Main stakeholders include customers, engineering, sales, supply chain, finance, and global project governance teams.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading and coordinating the project team, ensuring alignment on scope, roles, and deliverables.
• Executing projects in line with ABB project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Monitoring and controlling project scope, schedule, costs, cash flow, and margins to achieve financial and delivery targets.
• Identifying, qualifying, quantifying, and managing project risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual, quality, cyber security, HSE, and regulatory requirements.
• Driving formal project acceptance, contract close‑out, and customer acknowledgment in accordance with contractual obligations.

Qualifications for the role

• University degree or above, preferably in Electrical Engineering (Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline acceptable).
• 5+ years of experience in project management, project engineering, or technical sales, ideally within the electrical, power distribution, or industrial technology sector.
• Solid understanding of project execution, contract management, and stakeholder coordination in technical environments.
• Ideally you will have knowledge of electrical distribution solutions, including low‑ and medium‑voltage switchgear, power distribution panels and boards, protection relays and control systems, and substation equipment. Please note that this is not essential.
• Proactive and innovative mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with project management and ERP tools (e.g. MS Project, SAP, or equivalent).
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills in multicultural environments.
• Prefered Language requirements: Japanese and English: Business level (reading, writing, speaking)
• Valid work authorization for the job location.
