Our Potential Opportunity
INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking an experienced Project Manager with 12+ years of experience in managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, particularly within the oil and gas industry. The Project Manager will oversee engineering teams responsible for control systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA packages, ESD/SIS systems, instrumentation packages, and automation solutions, and field instrumentation. They will manage the execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource management, and customer satisfaction, while adhering to financial and quality standards.
What You'll Lead and Deliver
- Lead the day-to-day operations of EPC projects, managing all aspects from planning to delivery, under the supervision of the Project Director.
- Oversee engineering teams working on control systems and DCS/PLC/SCADA packages, automation and instrumentation systems, and field instrumentation, ensuring that all technical requirements are met.
- Maintain regular communication with customers, managing their expectations and ensuring their satisfaction with project progress.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule, while escalating potential risks or issues to the Project Director as necessary.
- Assist in identifying and processing customer change orders, ensuring that any scope adjustments are captured and approved.
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely acquisition of project materials and services, in line with budget and project goals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, maintaining clear documentation and collaborating with the Project Director for resolution.
- Ensure compliance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field).
- 12+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the EPC sector, particularly for Saudi Aramco and ADNOC.
- Experience with Saudi Aramco and ADNOC projects is a plus.
- Familiarity with control systems and DCS/PLC/SCADA packages, automation and instrumentation systems, DCS/PLC/SCADA controllers, and field instrumentation.
- PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
- Proven track record in leading teams for control systems and DCS/PLC/SCADA packages, automation and instrumentation systems, and control systems commissioning.
- Demonstrated ability to work under the direction of a senior leader, such as a Project Director, while taking full ownership of project execution.
- Familiarity with change management, risk mitigation, and quality assurance processes.
- Expertise in developing project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of EPC projects.
- Ability to monitor project costs and ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Experience in working with procurement teams to source materials and services.
- Proficiency in managing project changes and scope adjustments.
