• You will be participate in driving and managing the project in network infrastructure and collaborating with stakeholders.

Looking for a Infrastructure Project Manager to join one of the largest global entertainment company here in Japan.

Location: Osaka, Japan

Business Challenge This Role Solves

Lead the Cisco network upgrade project, scheduled to kick off at the beginning of next year.

Language Requirements

• Japanese: Business level (required)

Team Structure

• Reports to: Infrastructure Director

• Works closely with: Senior Network Manager and a team of 4 Network Engineers

• Collaborates with vendors and network engineers across the Infrastructure Team

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of the Infrastructure Team, overseeing network upgrades, operations, and maintenance

• Lead the Cisco network upgrade project from planning through execution, starting at the beginning of next year

• Work in close collaboration with the Senior Network Manager, external vendors, and network engineers to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met

• Manage day-to-day project coordination across network operations and infrastructure maintenance activities

Performance Expectations & Measurement

Success in this role will be measured by effective ownership of the Cisco network upgrade project, consistent collaboration with the Senior Network Manager and engineering team, and reliable oversight of ongoing network operations and maintenance - a clear improvement over the performance level of the incumbent vendor's PMs relative to their bill rate.

Candidate Background

• Strong networking background, ideally with hands-on experience in Cisco OR Aruba environments

• Solid physical infrastructure experience, including cabling, servers, switches, and routers

• Prior experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager in Japan
