The Plant Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the plant's strategic, operational, and policy objectives across safety, quality, performance, and organizational excellence while leading multiple capital projects, ensuring effective technical execution, timeline adherence, and financial management to deliver sustainable business results.

About You

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of major capital projects and/or manage specific workstreams within larger and more complex projects across Processing, Packaging, Utilities, and Building infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager to align project priorities, objectives, and budget allocations.
• Partner with the CAPEX Controller to effectively manage capital expenditure forecasting, tracking, and project financial performance.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery while meeting safety, quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
• Create, design, & evaluate initial tender call in collaboration with the Engineering Manager to support vendor selection and project execution.
• Liaise with Regional Engineering teams throughout bidding processes to ensure technical alignment, standardization, and best practice implementation.
• Work closely with the CAPEX Procurement team to align sourcing priorities and support contract negotiations with external suppliers and contractors.
• Travel occasionally to other sites for project-related activities, technical assessments, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience, preferably within the FMCG food or beverage manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical expertise in integrated automation and control systems, high-speed packaging technologies, and manufacturing utility systems.
• Knowledge of dairy or plant-based processing operations, project management methodologies, and capital project execution within a manufacturing environment.
• Highly organized and self-motivated professional with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively, and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills, with the flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or late shifts during project installation and startup phases.
