Description
Recent graduates or experienced physicians are encouraged to apply to our academically-oriented private community practice, the largest single site practice in the State.
Our group will ultimately be six physicians and three dedicated physician assistants primarily providing care at Willis Knighton Department of Radiation Oncology which is dual-accredited by ACRO and ACR.
The department has been an early pioneer in image-guided PBS proton therapy, SBRT, HDR brachytherapy, IMRT and Nuclear Oncology.
We have an award-winning eight person medical physics group, including a Theranostics fellow and residents, with an outstanding four person dosimetry group.
Therapy is delivered on three linear accelerators, including the first Radixact with ClearRT, a brachytherapy after-loader, and a Proteus One.
Image-guidance with an MRI simulator, CT simulator, compact CT for brachytherapy, 2 PET-CT’s and a SPECT-CT all belong wholly to radiation oncology.
We hosted PTCOG NA in 2025 as the world’s first community proton center and are leaders in expanding the field of radiation therapy while being advocates for our profession.
Each physician is assigned their own full-time registered nurse who work closely with our entire 55 person closely-aligned team.
Our group is looking for a physician who works well in a group with a commitment to excellence in patient care.
