Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center l Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Radiation Oncologist

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. (HMFP), in collaboration with the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), are seeking applications for full-time clinical faculty in Radiation Oncology. We are seeking board certified/board eligible radiation oncologists with interest and expertise across disease sites, as the clinical, academic, and research needs of our rapidly growing departments continue to evolve. The primary clinical practice location will be at our Main Campuses in the Longwood Medical Area of Boston, Massachusetts.

Candidates must have completed residency training in an ACGME-accredited Radiation Oncology program and/or fellowship training in an accredited U.S. program by July 2027. Applicants should demonstrate a strong record of excellence in clinical care and research and scholarly activity.

We are seeking outstanding clinicians who bring exceptional clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills and who are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality, multidisciplinary cancer care. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in a collaborative and innovative clinical environment while contributing to the continued growth and development of our new combined department and creating a world-class academic Radiation Oncology program.

The selected candidate will be appointed to an academic rank of Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School (HMS), commensurate with a formal HMS review of the candidate’s academic accomplishments/ contributions and teaching responsibilities.
