Our client is a leading global financial institution with a significant presence across Asia Pacific and a diversified franchise spanning Corporate & Investment Banking, Transaction Banking and Global Markets. With a complex cross-border operating model, the organisation continues to invest significantly in strengthening its Financial Crime risk management capabilities across the region.

Responsibilities

This senior regional leadership role will provide strategic direction and oversight of the AML programme across Asia Pacific, leading a sizeable team. The successful candidate will serve as a senior advisor to regional and global leadership, regulators and governance committees, while driving regulatory engagement, programme transformation, automation and the continued enhancement of the broader Financial Crime framework.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring at least 15 years of Financial Crime experience within a major financial institution or regulatory environment, with deep expertise across AML, KYC and Transaction Monitoring and strong exposure to APAC regulatory requirements. Proven experience leading cross-border teams and complex transformation programmes is essential, while broader expertise across Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, technology and AI-enabled compliance solutions would be highly advantageous; interested senior Financial Crime leaders are invited to apply for a confidential discussion
