Description
JP Hardlines is building the future of how Japanese customers discover, finance, purchase, and own high-consideration products - from smartphones and cameras to large appliances and furniture requiring professional delivery and installation. We're not optimizing one experience; we're building an interconnected ecosystem of growth levers - warranty, installments, trade-in, professional services, and beyond - that together remove every barrier between a customer and their next purchase. We're seeking an experienced Sr. Program Manager to drive end-to-end execution across our portfolio of strategic growth initiatives. You'll be the connective tissue that turns ambitious product visions into operational reality - at speed, at scale, and with profit discipline.
In this strategic and operational role, you will drive three critical missions:
1. Cross-Initiative Program Execution - Own the integrated delivery of our growth initiative portfolio, including but not limited to: Warranty, Trade-in (AI-powered self-grading, Instant Trade-in Credit, multi-category expansion etc.), Installments (integration with trade-in, affordability mechanisms), and Professional Services (delivery, installation, post-sale support). You'll build and maintain the mechanisms, milestones, and cross-team dependencies that keep multiple high-ambiguity programs on track simultaneously.
2. Stakeholder Alignment & Governance - Serve as the primary orchestrator across a complex stakeholder landscape: Tech, Category, Supply Chain, Last Mile, Finance, Legal, Marketing, WW Partner teams (including Science & Engineering), and external partners. You'll design governance structures that enable speed without sacrificing quality - escalating the right decisions to the right leaders at the right time.
3. Operational Excellence & Scaling - Build the operating rhythms, metrics frameworks, and reporting mechanisms that give leadership clear line-of-sight into program health and business impact. You'll identify bottlenecks before they become blockers, create playbooks that make new initiative launches repeatable, and relentlessly pursue opportunities to do more with less.
Your mission is to ensure our growth initiatives move from vision to value - delivered on time, within budget, and at the quality bar our customers deserve.
This is a Day 1 environment: standing up new programs from scratch, building mechanisms where none exist, managing through ambiguity, and directly impacting millions of customers across multiple business lines.
At Amazon, you'll work alongside the latest AI and GenAI tools that are increasingly woven into how teams operate: from AI-powered capabilities that accelerate decision-making, to Generative AI that helps you focus on work that truly matters. You'll have opportunities and resources to develop AI fluency at your own pace, with continuous learning built into the culture.
Key job responsibilities

Partner with Product, Tech, and Business teams to translate product visions into actionable program plans with clear milestones, owners, and success criteria
